considered necessary during a boil water notice period'.
BARRY ROAD SCHOOL
Statement from Barry Road School, 26th June 2008
'Following advice from Anglian Water and the Local Health
Authority and Safety Team, the pool will be remaining
open during the current water problems.
The pool water is topped up regularly, so any water
added is greatly diluted.
We have been advised to slightly increase the level
of chlorine to a recommended dose to deal with any additional
risk. This may cause some irritation for some swimmers,
but this is not harmful'.
